Last July, Fort Myers police officers arrived at an apartment complex on Central Avenue in Downtown Fort Myers to investigate a fight, according to a report from the State Attorney’s Office.
One officer was talking with Jeremy Jamal Moore and gathering his information when he suddenly ran and jumped off a third-floor balcony.
When Moore hit the ground, he stood up and took off running. Officers starting chasing after him and set up a perimeter in the area.
